Covenant Keepers 17th Annual Conference

Founder and president of Covenant Keepers, Marilyn invites you to attend the conference to hear messages of hope and encouragement and to receive ministry. “Reconciliation and restoration underlies everything that Covenant Keepers stands for. The church lost a wealth of vital knowledge when it abandoned its Jewish heritage in the 3rd and 4th centuries. God placed many prophetic images of His will and plan for humanity in the culture and customs of Abraham's descendants. Through a story based on betrothal practices common in ancient Israel, Gerry will present a moving image of Jesus' love for each of us as well as deeper understanding of what our marriages are intended to represent.

Pastor Ken Savage will lead a memorial service for long-time Covenant Keepers board member Louis Gordon, who passed away last December. Dr. Savage is Senior Pastor at Cornerstone Family Church. Marilyn Conrad is a Cornerstone member and Covenant Keepers is located in office space at the church. Pastor Ken and wife Lauren are also board members and have a healed marriage.

Bob & Charlyne birthed Rejoice Ministries to encourage those facing separation and divorce. They separated several times and divorced in 1985. Because a praying wife refused to give up, Bob and Charlyne remarried.

The Steinkamp’s have written fourteen books on marriage restoration. Rejoice Ministries has witnessed marriage after marriage restored, even after divorce. "When your marriage is falling apart, find an altar, not an attorney."

Covenant Keepers welcomes Phil & Cindy Waugh as first-time conference speakers. The Waughs say, “There is no question that God has entered a covenant with us and called us to join hearts and hands to transform the present divorce culture to a covenant marriage culture through which He can be glorified.” Covenant Keepers is a cooperating ministry of CMM.

Phil Waugh became full-time director of the Covenant Marriage Movement (CMM) last September. Phil says, “As pastors, Cindy & I discovered an increased personal need for marriage and family enrichment. Providing enrichment experiences for couples and families is the best preventative medicine for warding off marriage and family counseling.”

COUPLES

Couples attending the conference are invited to fellowship with Phil & Cindy Waugh at a couples meal Saturday evening at 5:00. Individuals at the conference who have a healed marriage are also invited. Couples will also have an opportunity to renew their vows.

PRAISE & WORSHIP

Mike & LuAnn Barnes with their praise team will lead praise and worship again. Mike & LuAnn are familiar to Covenant Keepers who attended the conference last year.

God has given Craig unique insight into marriage, family and interpersonal relationships and an ability to identify root causes of relational conflict and undesirable life patterns which are repeated from one generation to the next. Interweaving personal stories with biblical truth, Craig reveals an anointing from God to pierce through the veil of the mind to minister to the depths of the heart, resulting in real life change for many. Craig will be speaking to the leadership and the teens.

TWEENS & TEENS MINISTRY

(Tweens Ages 10-12 -- Teens Ages 13-19)

ATTENTION ALL TWEENS: We want to invite you to a great time of games, fun, and ministry at this conference. There will be exciting teaching, games, and activities planned just for you. This is your chance to have fun, make new friends, revisit old ones, ask questions, and to come in contact with the creator of the Universe. So join us this conference and don’t miss out on all the excitement!

Greg & Heather Sitton joined in the covenant of marriage this past winter. They met at Bible College in 1999 and graduated the following year. They currently serve as youth pastors at Cornerstone Family Church. Heather became a full-time Covenant Keepers’ employee in January.

HEY, AWESOME TEENS AND PARENTS OF TEENS! We believe that the Lord will bring everyone to this place who needs to be here! Last year we had so much fun and this year will be even more exciting! Jordan and Jamie worked with the teens the past two years. They welcomed a new daughter, Gwendolyn Grace, to their family in December. The Savages have a heart for young people, especially ones from broken homes. Covenant marriage and keeping covenant are close to their hearts.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION INFORMATION

HOTEL: Special conference rate is $76/night (1-4 per room). Call 1-800-838-7914 and tell them you are with Covenant Keepers. One night's deposit or credit card number required to confirm (refundable according to hotel guidelines)

DEADLINES:: Register for the conference and make hotel reservations by Friday, July 4. Special room rate may not be available after July 4. Make reservations early to insure you will have a room. Conference registration includes lunch on Saturday and breakfast buffet on Sunday. If you register for the conference after July 4 you will not receive meals.

REGISTRATION: Adults/Teens (13+): $75.00, Pre-Teens (10-12): $45.00. Register Now

GROUP LEADERSHIP TRAINING: Contact your Regional Director if interested in leading a Covenant Keepers group. Leadership training is on Thursday, July 17th. You must be pre-approved by your Regional Director by June 13th to receive training.

IMPORTANT: Conference registrations are not refundable. If you register and cannot attend the conference you may transfer your registration or make your registration available to someone with special financial needs.
