THE TRADITION

This October 31 in more than 75 countries, Covenant Keepers will join together in fasting and prayer for our nations, homes, and families.

We traditionally tie bright yellow ribbons on our front doors or around trees or lamp posts to symbolize our mates, children, and loved ones being held captive by Satan. We also invite you to join other covenant keepers at a meeting in your area.

Everyone is encouraged to participate by abstaining from food for one or more meals. If you have never fasted, we suggest fasting only one meal. If medical problems prevent fasting, we suggest giving up certain foods such as sweets or soft drinks. Another alternative is to fast television and spend that time in prayer. Isaiah 58:6 says God’s chosen fast is “…to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke.” By joining together, we can pull down strongholds and destroy Satan’s plans for our nations and families. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

PRAYER TARGETS

Pray for the following and as the Holy Spirit directs

• National, state & local leaders; pastors. 1 Timothy 2:1-2

• Salvation for mates & children. Isaiah 44:3, Ephesians 6:12, Acts 16:31

• Protection for children, especially from abortion. Leviticus 18:21

• Healing & restoration of families around the world. Ephesians 4:31-32, Colossians 3:12, 18-20, Malachi 4:6

• Newly reconciled couples. Philippians 1:6

OCTOBER PRAYER GUIDE

In October, pray for the following on these dates:

1. For the peace of Jerusalem. Ps 122:6

2. For national and state leaders. 1 Tim 2:1-2, Prov 21:1

3. For Marilyn Conrad and office staff. Ps 92:12-15, Ps 91, Gal 6:9

4. For National & Regional Directors and group leaders. 1 Tim 2:1-2, Prov 21:1 

5. For Board of Directors, Nat’l & US. 1 Tim 2:1-2, Prov 21:1 

6. For intercessors to receive greater revelation knowledge. Eph 1:17, Mark 4:22.

7. For deliverance of loved ones from alcohol, drugs, homo-sexuality, adultery, occult spirits, pornography, and internet relationships and affairs. Ps 91:3, Ps 129:4, Ps 18

8. For covenant keepers to develop a warrior mentality. Ps 91:13, Jer 1:18-19, Jer 15:20-21

9. Against spiritual pride in covenant keepers. Prov 8:13

10. For Godly communication with our mates. 1 Tim 6:18, Eph 2:14 

11. For all covenant keepers to be excellent employees. Rom 12:11, 1 Thess 4:12 Amp

12. For pastors to receive revelation knowledge about marriage covenant and healing and the grace not to compromise God’s Word. Eph 1:18, 2 Tim 4:2

13. For physical and spiritual strength as the ministry grows. Isa 54:17, Isa 40:29

14. That all gossip and murmuring against Covenant Keepers cease. Ps 31:18, Ps 141:3, Prov 19:18

15. For all children from pre-school through high school to honor the Lord. Ps 34:11, Prov 20:11, Mal 4:6

16. For covenant keepers to be Spirit-led, rather than emotion-led. Gal 5:16 Amp, Gal 6:9

17. For all covenant keepers to walk in divine health and prosperity. Prov 4:20-22, 3 John 2, 2 Cor 9:6-12

18. For unity in the Body of Christ. Eph 4:2-5, Ps 133

19. For the restoration of the mother/father spirit in the mates of covenant keepers. Mal 4:6, 1 Tim 3:2-5, Titus 2:4-5, Prov 31:10-31.

20. That CK’s will learn to trust God to perform His Word. Num 23:19, Luke 1:37

21. Against the spirit of Molech (sacrificing children) that still exists through abortion. Lev 18:21

22. For truth and hidden secrets to be revealed in all areas and situations. 2 Cor 10:5, Mk 4:22

23. For the eyes of our mates’ hearts to be enlightened and that they would begin to hunger for the things of God. Eph 1:18, Matt 5:6, Ezek 36:25-27

24. For all those who need encouragement. Ps 24:8, Phil 1:6 & 4:8

25. For moral purity for all students. Matt 5:8

26. For newly reconciled couples, that healing will continue to take place. Eph 5:22-23, Zech 2:5, Matt 19:6, Mk 10:8-9

27. For the strengthening of pastors’ marriages and others in church leadership. Eph 3:16, Mk 10:8-9

28. For all those facing divorce proceedings. Col 2:14, Matt 19:6

29. For CKs around the world, including groups in England, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Singapore & the U.S.

30. That the covenant breaking spirit would be broken over our nations and our homes protected. Matt 18:18, Jer 11;1-3 

31. Worldwide Annual Yellow Ribbon Day: That the strongholds of the enemy be torn down over our nations. 2 Cor 10:3-5
