Southeast Spring Yellow Ribbon Day Retreat

The Southeast Spring Yellow Ribbon Day Retreat was held April 5-7 in Panama City Beach, Florida, with twenty-three people in attendance. We were encouraged and inspired while enjoying special times of worship and thanksgiving to God.

On Friday night, SE Regional Director, Susan Marvin, talked about hope, and how to truly receive in our hearts that we are loved by the Trinity, and how to walk in the Holy Spirit (as written in Romans 8:16-39). On Saturday morning, with humor and tenderness, Cynthia Losavio shared her exciting testimony of walking in faith with God – pouring out her heart to Him over the years of her stand and receiving His directions and love. (Cynthia will also be one of our speakers at the upcoming Covenant Keepers Annual Conference in Charlotte, NC this summer!) William and Sharon Cothron shared scripture, memories, and the testimony of their restored marriage, inspiring the group as usual. Rex and Carolyn Johnson encouraged us Saturday night with their wisdom and much laughter. We closed out the evening with a special time of prayer for each other. On Sunday, Charles Holland shared that we are healed by Christ’s stripes and then led us in communion.

As usual, we had wonderful fellowship throughout the weekend and enjoyed worship led by Georgia group leader Marilyn Pennington. Our thanks go to several of the CK ladies who baked some delicious snacks for us and put together our welcome bags. We look forward to going back!
