What Covenant Keepers Means to Me

Cover – The ministry was my covering, a place to run to when the world, the flesh and the devil were telling me that I was crazy for standing. Overcomer – The ministry helped me to be an overcomer, I can do all things in Jesus who gives me strength. Victory – The ministry showed me that I have the victory if I faint not and believe me – I, like you, wanted to quit many times. Energy – The ministry helped me develop the Jesus kind of energy for my walk. Isaiah 40:31, I will wait upon the Lord […]

The Prayer of Moses

  • By Covenant Keepers, Inc.
  • May 7, 2019

In the darkest and most baffling moment of his life Moses found himself in anger, casting the Tablets of Stone to the ground. The people who had seen the hand of God move on their behalf, the same people who ate of the manna and the meat and drank of the water which poured forth out of a rock, the children of the covenant, were now dancing before an idol made of gold, given to them by the very God they now disowned. Moses had done his best to represent God, yet the people were worshipping a golden cow created […]

Now What Lord? – Part 2

  • By Covenant Keepers, Inc.
  • April 18, 2019

When I came home from the doctor visit where my pregnancy was confirmed, my husband did not share my joy. The devil had stolen his joy. I couldn’t believe it! I also started noticing that my husband was paying special attention to our very young and single secretary. We hired her right out of high school and encouraged her to go to church with us. We wanted her to join the youth group but she said she wasn’t ready for that. Now I was seeing that Satan had set a trap for the two of them. The following year and […]

Her Children Bless and Respect Her

Guest Article reprinted from August 2007 newsletter:   A little over three years ago my husband started living with the other woman. When I advised him that I wasn’t at peace with our children staying overnight in that set-up he responded by applying for custody of two of our sons. After much prayer and soul searching I felt I was not to contest his application but to allow the boys to go and live with him. It was heartbreaking to know that my precious children would be living in that environment. Devastating though that decision was, I felt God saying […]

When You Don’t Know What to Pray

  • By Covenant Keepers, Inc.
  • January 8, 2019

Have you ever been so burdened by a problem that you say “I just don’t even know what to pray?” When the circumstances of life seem too big or complex to comprehend, shift your focus to who God is by praying God’s character. For every circumstance I believe and proclaim… God is sovereign. All authority and all power is His. Matthew 28:18. Nothing takes Him by surprise. All circumstances serve Him. God knows the end from the beginning. Psalms 119:91, Isa 46:9-10. His word is forever settled in heaven. Psalms 119:89. God does all things for our good and His […]

A Crown for a Hat

Joyce Hasty has graduated to heaven. This is a great loss to our CKI family and she will be greatly missed. Joyce joined my CKI group early in the 80s and remained a friend until she died in December 2018. I was privileged to be the one who prayed with her the day she received her prayer language after a CKI meeting.  She was a faithful CKI meeting attendee and was often quite a character at the meetings. She always had something funny to tell us about her situation while being a quick learner of things to do or not […]

Who am I, Lord?

  • By Covenant Keepers, Inc.
  • November 20, 2018

A relevant topic warrants repeating, so this month we are revisiting a topic from some years ago. Most mornings in the growing season you will find me outside shortly after dawn watering my garden veggies and flowers, then sitting on the back patio to read a daily Bible reading and to “contemplate life.” For several days this past season, the question “Who am I, Lord?” was persistently on my mind. I have learned that when thoughts are persistent I should pay attention. It could be something I need to address in my own relationship with the Lord or with Carolyn. […]

I Am Standing for the Healing of Our Marriage

Sponsored by The King’s Gardeners Ministries, Spokane Valley, Washington I am standing for the healing of our marriage. I have been ridiculed for my stand by some who claim to be spiritually related to me and have been told that some of the members of my church think I am absolutely crazy. My reply to their criticism is, “They thought Noah was crazy for 120 years, but he floated and the critics drowned!” God hates divorce and we are to hate what God hates. He even hates separation. Separation and divorce are accepted by a society built on the devil’s […]

Look What God is Doing

Canada CK had lots for which to praise the Lord after several weeks of visiting with family. Her husband was there too and thanked CK’s brother for taking good care of her. Soon after that, she was at a church event with other women where she was able to share about covenant marriage with one woman whose husband had recently left. She saw that her words were like water to a dry plant. Then, coming home, she was able to contact her daughter-in-law for the first time in a long time. Usually, she doesn’t know what to talk […]

Featuring a new book, Lorraine’s Journey of Faith, about marriage healing and restoration.  See what other people are saying: PA: Lorraine, I finally had time today to start and finish your book on our fasting day. What a blessing it was to me. Your scriptures and faith stood out to me time and time again to minister to my soul and my heart which was actually hurting this morning. My heart feels a whole lot better and my spirit is much stronger. I can face what I still need to face. Thank you so much. I just want to […]
