CURACOA “The members of our CKI online group are so thankful for what God is doing in our lives. We are trusting God and believing for healing and restoration of all our marriages. May God surprise us with spouses coming home soon!”  USA AZ: CK praises God for providing for her in many ways since she has been unable to work due to two surgeries in the last four weeks. Her next door neighbors took her to the E.R. at 11 pm Sunday and stayed with her at the hospital till 2 am. They also volunteered and paid to have […]

Northwest Spring Retreat

  • May 2, 2018

The Spring Retreat, March 23-25, 2018, proved to be an amazing weekend in the Northwest! Twenty-two Covenant Keepers met at Black Lake Bible Camp in Olympia, Washington. What can be said about it other than it was amazing as always. We were blessed by the Holy Spirit, and enjoyed our guest speaker, CKI Group Leader and Intercessor Marilyn Pennington, who reminded us of the power of our spoken words. After a rich Saturday of teaching and fellowship, the topper was the movie, “War Room”. It seemed to be a visual reminder of all that we had been learning during the […]

Beauty for Ashes

I recently corresponded with a covenant keeper who wrote: “I receive your newsletter/website postings each week. I was greatly touched by your testimony in Craig Hill’s book, Help My Spouse Wants Out, but never expected to be one of those standing for my marriage. The last two years have been difficult but I knew in my heart that standing for the covenant I made was the only way. God is changing my husband’s heart and he is opening up. I just wanted to thank you because these articles have spoken to my heart and ministered to very specific things that […]

CURACAO (A word of encouragement included with recent online donation) Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise! Praise Him, bless His Name. For Adonai is good. His loving kindness endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 100:4-5  USA AK: (Referring to “Marriage According to God’s Plan” by Laura Klempay) This is a great testimony of our faith in God and Jesus Christ! CA: (Referring to “New Year Encouragement” by Carolyn Johnson) Bravo! What a message, Carolyn! Wow! That statement in this word- God wants our obedience not our sacrifice. He reminded me of that every […]

A Stander, by His Amazing Grace

This is my story: After many attempts to write my story I think it’s time to just put it out there. It feels a bit surreal as I sit here typing, thinking that as much faith I believed I had, I still doubted. I still think can this be real? Has this really happened? One month from this day that I write my story (November 17, 2017) my beloved and I will be re-marrying after being divorced for one and a half years! May 1, 2014 was the infamous day that rocked my world and changed my life as I […]

2017 Fall Southeast YRD Retreat

  • By Covenant Keepers, Inc.

Twenty-three people attended the SE Regional Covenant Keepers Yellow Ribbon Day Retreat in sunny Panama City Beach, Florida, November 3-5. We enjoyed praising and worshiping God, learning from several speakers (Rex and Carolyn Johnson, William and Sharon Cothron, Marilyn Pennington, Susan Marvin, and Angel Avery), fellowshipping, and praying. Charles Holland led us in receiving communion on Sunday. There is always a great sense of support and affirmation when we gather with our fellow standers. We learned Biblical principles for peacemaking and personal conflict resolution and how to move out of panic and complacency as standers. We were refreshed by God’s […]

2017 Fall Midwest Yellow Ribbon Day

Our Midwest YRD was a small gathering but “From little acorns do mighty oaks grow!” We had a wonderful time of praise, fellowship, teaching (on “Ditches” by Marilyn Pennington), prayer and food. Marilyn taught us that there are two ditches that Covenant Keepers tend to fall into, one on either side of the road we walk while we are standing for our marriages. One is the ditch of “Panic” and the other is the ditch of “Complacency.” We want to avoid either of these ditches as we walk the walk of faith for our spouses and our families. We want […]

2017 Fall – California Yellow Ribbon Day

  • By Covenant Keepers, Inc.
  • December 6, 2017

Our Yellow Ribbon Day on November 4, 2017 was a day of prayer and encouragement for all those that attended. Loretta Jackson, Los Angeles CKI Group Leader opened the meeting by welcoming everyone to our gathering for the Covenant Keepers Yellow Ribbon Day in California. Loretta began by reading from Romans 4:16-21 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only those who are of the law, but also those who are the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all […]

My son-in-law, Scott Toal, writes a blog titled “Better Blessings.” Often while reading his blog I think of all the covenant keepers around the world who would benefit from what he says and I will store that specific post in a folder titled “CK.” Below is one such post: “Sometimes we may need help finding the love of God. Not that God would hide His love, but sometimes it is difficult for us to find even something as immense as God’s love for us. “Think of it as a theater with the house lights down and the stage lights up. Faith Is Always Forged in the Fire

“…when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8b Years ago when I was standing for the healing of our marriage, I had no idea what God was doing. I was dealing with pain, rejection, and shame. I wanted to be whole and healthy and I wanted to see my marriage healed. Looking back now I realize how limited my vision was and how small I had made our God. While I approached my situation from a somewhat selfish point of view, God was looking at it with a much larger vision. Back […]
