Look What God is Doing
USA CA: I just have to praise God for His provision. For the past year I have felt that I was to do work on our home and God has provided the resources to do it. I recently had to replace my front door and screen door but my regular handyman use was unavailable. I found a new workman who has been such a blessing. I had to special order my door, but he is charging me almost nothing and offered to do some repairs for free. He explained that he takes care of his kids when his wife works […]Read More
ENJOYING THE JOURNEY – Part 1
I would like to share some of the things I have learned on my Covenant Keeping journey… WHEN I GOT THE BAD NEWS… During a meeting of the Smyrna, GA group, a gentleman started his story with, “When I got the bad news…,” at which time all in attendance broke into laughter because we, too, so well-remembered that moment in our lives! No one can possibly understand that devastation and mourning without experiencing it. We who have walked through it can recall, in great detail, the loss of our beloved spouse and all that the loss involved. The mourning seemed […]Read More

Who am I, Lord?
A relevant topic warrants repeating, so this month we are revisiting a topic from some years ago. Most mornings in the growing season you will find me outside shortly after dawn watering my garden veggies and flowers, then sitting on the back patio to read a daily Bible reading and to “contemplate life.” For several days this past season, the question “Who am I, Lord?” was persistently on my mind. I have learned that when thoughts are persistent I should pay attention. It could be something I need to address in my own relationship with the Lord or with Carolyn. […]Read More
Freedom from Your Past
Below is a message we are using with permission from Jimmy Evans at MarriageToday. The message can be applied to many situations CKs find in their lives today. Pray and ask Jesus if this relates to your life. “Karen and I have wonderful parents and in-laws, but let’s face it: No parent is perfect. The imperfect parenting individuals experience while growing up leads to baggage that can harm our marriages. “The two most prominent types of baggage are iniquities and inner vows. “Iniquities. Exodus 34:7 tells of how God inflicts “the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to […]Read More
The Value of Keeping Covenant
There’s a particular moment I will never forget. My husband and I were stationed with the Navy in San Diego and we attended a chapel service where we heard a missionary family sing, “Whatever it takes to draw closer to you, Lord; that’s what I’ll be willing to do.” That song struck my heart and dug deep into my soul as I sang along in my heart. In the years that followed my beloved and I followed the Lord and our commitment to Christ as best we knew how. We enjoyed a good, happy life, even though there were many […]Read More
A Covenant Keeper Tradition Continues
Covenant Keepers will continue our annual tradition of taking Halloween back from Satan and making it a day of fasting and prayer for our nation, our homes, and our families. Yellow Ribbon Day is observed in and around the month of October and, instead of decorating with jack-o-lanterns, we tie yellow ribbons around trees, lampposts, or on doors as a symbol that the captives have been set free! It was in 1987 that we planned the first Yellow Ribbon Day. Marilyn Conrad had been in prayer about the idea and one evening she turned on the television to watch 700 […]Read More
How Do You Make Decisions?
To make a decision, you: flip a coin, consult an Ouija board, or consult ungodly people? It has been said that we make 35,000 decisions each day. Most of these decisions are minor but decisions none the less. Many, an estimated 225 decisions, are based upon food. Interesting to consider that even by not making a decision you are making a decision. But the top number one decision is whether or not to worship God. Will you keep Jesus at the center of it all? Joaquin Molina has spoken at the CKI conference and is counted as a friend of the […]Read More
Look What God Is Doing
USA CA: CK is praising God for the wonderful trip taken to Yellowstone. “I felt God’s presence in the beautiful scenery and had a wonderful time with the kids. Yellowstone truly is breathtaking and I am thankful for the prayers that helped get me there and back safely and without any issues. My husband was in contact with me via text the entire trip there. He expressed concern for our safety and wished us a good trip. I’m still standing.” CK is praising God for a wonderful weekend with her family. “They came to visit from L.A. and it […]Read More
Could Your Frustrations Be His Plans in Process?
Have you ever had an event or series of events that were so frustrating that you wanted to pull your hair out by the roots? Of course you have. At the end when the circumstance was resolved have you seen the hand of God in the process or result? As I write this our annual CKI Families Are Forever conference has just been completed and the time seemed to fly by with all the activities of planning, coordinating and executing the conference. Because we usually print a lot of materials to prepare for the conference we needed to have the […]Read More
