CURACAO What a joy to give to this ministry which is God’s heart here on earth as restoration is God’s heart. May Adonai fulfill all our petitions (Psalm 20:6). My husband is very aware of my service to CKI Ministry. USA OH: I have been with Marilyn Conrad since before she began Covenant Keepers. I was able to attend the first conference held in NC. Through the years I have been supportive of the ministry because it has done so much for me. I remember the old times and attended conferences several times when they were in Oklahoma. My fellow […]

USA CA: “I praised God when I recently realized that He has filled my life with a joy that cannot be taken from me and for this I give Him praise. I am still standing!” CK was encouraged when she heard from her stepdaughter after many years of no contact. She said, “I was looking all over for your email address because I don’t want to lose contact with you.” She told me she loved me and wanted to see me. “I am praising God for the experience of watching reconciliation occurring in the CKI online group I attend weekly […]

Proverbs for Those Standing on God’s Promises Ephesians 6:14

Want to know something interesting? Standing for a righteous thing has the same elements regardless of what that thing is. I’m glad we have a one-size-fits-all-God for all of our needs. These are my proverbs, what are yours? God’s timing is the most overlooked part of a miracle. Coincidence is just God doing two things at once. You’ll never have a better opportunity to know God, than in an extended trial. God steps in when it is only Him-possible. There is no better place to be than in the center lane of God’s will – regardless of the situation. You […]

Give Thanks

In the USA we celebrate our Thanksgiving holiday this week. An Act of Congress in 1941 established Thanksgiving as a national holiday to be celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November each year. It is an interesting read for anyone interested in history to search for the origins and traditions of “Thanksgiving.” “Days of thanksgiving and prayer” is a generic description of events celebrated around the world at various times of the year. Tradition and history say that in the USA our first Thanksgiving was in the fall of 1621 when the Pilgrims who had landed at Plymouth were celebrating […]

How to Put on the Armor of God

Introduction When you have completed this lesson you should be able to: 1)   Identify the true enemy who must be defeated. 2)   State two benefits of wearing the whole Armor of God. 3)   List the Armor of God.   All of us understand the need for safety and protection in physical areas of our lives. Many employers provide special safety training. A major function of laws and of government is to provide for the safety and protection of our society. In order to function in the protection that society has provided, we must comply with the rules. For example, when […]

In John 4 we learn that Jesus and the disciples had been in Judea and were going to Galilee. Most Jews in order to not come in contact with Samaritans would have gone out of their way to not walk through Samaria. But Jesus wanted to go to Samaria because He had an appointed time with a woman at a well. Because Jews believed that they would be ceremonially unclean if they used a vessel handled by a Samaritan, the woman expressed surprise that Jesus asked her for a drink. She must have wondered what Jesus intended for her to […]

Dear Carolyn, I thought you did a great job Monday night with our CK group. We were so happy to have you and hope you can join our online CK meeting again. I know you were speaking to me while you were talking about what you had to go through when your needs for your family were so great, and to see your children hurting, too. Mine were grown and living away at college when we separated. Our youngest came back home to live with me after doing part of her education in Raleigh. Our son came back also to […]

In November 2015, our daughter Jodi and her Mexican husband Mario were married in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Mario has a successful fishing business there, so they chose to live in the nice warm sunshine of P.V. Puerto Vallarta is the place where my husband Duane and I celebrated our anniversary for 15 years and also took our children for vacations. Now our daughter was blessed to call this home and our family was excited to have even more reasons to visit. In October of 2016, Duane and I came to Puerta Vallarta because the newlyweds were blessed to have a […]

From Rex and Carolyn After all the broken bones, Rex is on the mend and doing great. All the rehab appointments have been endured and he is almost back to “normal,” whatever that means. He can walk a mile and doesn’t limp. God has been faithful in restoring his health and we give Him the glory. Our home went on the market at 2:00 PM on a Monday about a month ago and we had a signed contract by 9:00 PM that evening. Within 2 weeks we had a contract on our next home. So the Johnsons are moving!  And […]

The Choice is Yours

Take inventory. Thoughts will either bind you or free you. They either tell you what you can’t do or what He’s already done for you. They proclaim victory this side of the Red Sea or defeat because life is too hard. They either jump into what God is doing at the moment or worry how the rest of life will end up. They will either dive into “what’s next” or shrink back at the water’s depth. They will either proclaim, “Anywhere with You” or “All I have is little ole me.” They will either increase you or decrease you. They will either seek to know God or […]
