I am praying for a great conference. May each CK be refreshed in the Holy Spirit and enabled to carry out Gods call on their lives. Love to all, Intercessor – CKI Australia

CA: (Referring to recent CKI annual Conference in Charlotte, NC) Hi to everyone at the CKI Charlotte office. I just wanted to say thank you again to everyone for hosting the conference and for shuttling us around. The food was fantastic especially the chocolate chip cookies. I munched on the ones Sarah gave me until I got home. The hotel staff was so nice and helpful. What a blessing to be with everyone and see and listen to the healed marriages. I loved how everyone came together to tear down the decorations and setup on the last evening and it was a blessing to help. I received an email today from a sister stander who could not attend that her husband asked her to remarry him. Praise the Lord and I will keep you posted when I hear more. Blessings, CK in CA

CO: Rex and Carolyn, I want to give a huge recognition to Lou Bearry – do you do recognition? I’m not sure how it works but at my company we are big on that so I want to share with you what a wonderful person Lou is. Lou Bearry is my mentor for now, by the grace of God. She is 79 years old and has been doing this for over 25 years which is apparent. She answers my phone calls early in the morning and late at night. She stands with me. She encourages me as one who has gone before. She talks to me with such love and grace and encouragement. She is led by the Holy Spirit and gives beautiful direction and counsel. She shares scripture and talks in terms of…as though we’ve already made it through to the other side…together. Using “we” statements and encouragement…as though we’re both looking back at our lives, together, seeing what God has already accomplished. She reminds me of a pivotal character in a book who shows up at just the right time to coach the main character along at a critical time in their journey. I am so thankful for her and thank you! From new CK stander in Denver, CO.

FL: (Referring to guest article by Sylvia Gunter, “Dry Bones Prayer.”) Good word. We already have what we need. We must make all efforts to gain forgiveness for what we’ve done and begin to be obedient in every area of our lives.

TX: (Referring to recent CKI annual Conference in Charlotte, NC and staff person Sarah Graham) Sarah, I was hoping to give you a hug and thank you so much for taking such great care of me at the conference! But, at the last minute someone offered me a ride back to the hotel and I left without thanking you. You gave me such peace of mind as I headed to the conference for the first time. I’m sure being gluten free you know the feeling of wondering if there is anything you can eat in social situations. You were my little angel 😇 and over and over I would turn around and there would be a fabulous dessert right in front of me. Thank you for your sweet care of always making sure I was taken care of. ❤ CK from TX.

NC: (Referring to CKI Conference and Ministry Directors Rex and Carolyn Johnson) Dear Carolyn, I know you and Rex are ready to get settled into your new home, and we are thanking the Lord that the conference was done so well even though the stresses were great on you and your team of helpers. All went so smoothly considering the whole picture. I loved the speakers and guests you asked to come, and they were most appreciated by us all. The meals were very good too and our hotel was also a friendly place to be. We could get together downstairs and talk and eat and drink…it was fun. I did not need to go shopping so I did not use much gas going and coming from the hotel back to Steel Church. That was a great building to have our meetings. It is no wonder that the church loves you both, and enjoyed seeing us CK members. Please get the rest you need and enjoy your time being in your new place. HUGS TO YOU BOTH! Blessings and thanks! We love you. CK from NC
